The Into Series is a series of photography done in various locations to experiment with varying lighting, lens, etc. Each set of photos is entirely unedited, raw photography done with a Nikon D5600.
Into the Dark
This is a series of unedited, raw photographs, shot to experiment with camera settings in a nighttime environment. I was able to learn about how different shutter speeds impact the lighting and composition of a subject, focusing on using a slower shutter speed to increase the light being brought in through the lens. This also helped capture the snowfall seen within the images, creating a bokeh effect. Similarly, I also experimented with the aperture settings, ensuring a wider aperture to further increase the light being brought in. Shot on a Nikon D5600 with an 18mm to 55mm lens.
Into the Forest
This is a series of unedited, raw photographs, shot to experiment with zoom lens in a greenery environment. This lens allowed me to work at a much further scale than I was used to but I enjoyed experimenting with it to capture the shots below. I found that it did not add weight to the camera, however, I was able to produce much higher quality shots than I’ve previously shot. Shot on a Nikon D5600 with an 70mm to 300mm lens.
Into the Garden
This is a series of unedited, raw photographs, shot to experiment with zoom lens in a greenery environment. These photos were taken in the Shakespearean Gardens located in Stratford, Ontario. Shot on a Nikon D5600 with a 70mm to 300mm zoom lens.
Into the Wild
